Schachenmayr nomotta's Hair is a mohair-acrylic blend. It's easy to knit, but nearly impossible to frog. I bought it for a lace shawl; despite its fuzziness, it shows lace patterns quite well (if your use larger needles than the recommended 4-5mm ones).

Hair von Schachenmayr nomotta ist ein Mohair-Poyacryl-Gemisch. Verstricken lässt es sich ganz leicht, aber das Aufribbeln ist fast ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Bei mir soll mal ein Schal im Spitzenmuster draus werden. Das Garn ist zwar flauschig, aber wenn man ausreichend große Nadeln nimmt, kann man das Lochmuster trotzdem gut erkennen.

Mega Fiamma von Lana Grossa

Our LYS had a sale with Lana Grossa's Mega Fiamma for 1,95€/ball. It's a bulky, thick-and-thin, single ply wool/acrylic blend. I haven't knit with it yet, but I'm planning on making the green cable sweater from Filati Magazin 30 (in the second to last row of pictures).

Unser Wollgeschäft hatte Mega Fiamma von Lana Grossa für 1,95€/Knäuel im Angebot. Das ist ein dickes, unregelmäßiges Dochtgarn aus einer Woll-Acryl-Mischung.

Bis jetzt habe ich es noch nicht verstrickt, aber ich will zum Herbst den Zopfmusterpulli aus dem Filati-Magazin 30 (zweite Bildreihe von unten) daraus stricken.

Mega Stoppino von Lana Grossa

Another single ply yarn, this one has a colourway that results in random stripes. It's nice to knit with this yarn, and the acrylic makes it less scratchy.

Und noch ein Dochtgarn, diesmal mit einem Farbverlauf, der einen unregelmäßigen Streifeneffekt ergibt. Angenehm zu stricken, und durch den Acrylanteil nicht besonders kratzig.

Boston von Lana Grossa

Ich fange mal mit meinem derzeitigen Lieblingsgarn an: "Boston" von Lana Grossa. Ein angenehm weiches Dochtgarn aus Schurwolle und Kunstfasern, leicht zu verstricken und außerdem gut zum Nadelbinden geeignet, weil sich die Fadenenden gut miteinander verfilzen lassen.
